Find Your Perfect Cruise

What does it mean when they say a cabin has a restricted view?

A restricted view cabin has some type of obstruction blocking all or part of your view.

The restrictions on your view depend on which cruise liner you are sailing on and which cabin choice you opt for.

In most cases the obstruction will be the lifeboats attached at the side of the cruise ship. Depending on the positioning of your cabin, you may be lucky and only have your view partially obstructed whereas in other positions your view may be completely blocked. When booking your cruise your Cruise Expert will be able to advise if your cabin will be fully or partially restricted.

Restricted view cabins can mostly be found on Oceanview and Balcony cabin grades or cabins located on higher decks on board.

Some cruisers prefer restricted view cabins as they have the same décor and amenities etc. as full view cabins but are slightly cheaper in price.

When choosing the perfect cabin for you, our Cruise Experts are here to answer any questions or queries you may have. Call us today on 0800 197 8050.
