Day 1 - Budapest

Arrive: Tue 01 September 2026

Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward. Trinity Square is home to 13th-century Matthias Church and the turrets of the Fishermen’s Bastion, which offer sweeping views.

The 12th-century Stone Bridge, a 310m-long icon with 16 arches, crosses the river to the old town. The 13th-century Regensburg Cathedral, a twin-spired Gothic landmark, is home to the Regensburger Domspatzen choir. Walhalla, a Parthenon replica just east of the city, honors illustrious Germans.

Bamberg is known for its special beer and many local breweries and beer gardens. The most famous of Bamberg's breweries is the historic smoked beer brewery, Schlenkerla. Würzburg is a city in Germany's Bavaria region. It's known for lavish baroque and rococo architecture, particularly the 18th-century Residenz palace, with ornate rooms, a huge fresco by Venetian artist Tiepolo and an elaborate staircase. Home to numerous wine bars, cellars and wineries, Würzburg is the center of the Franconian wine country, with its distinctive bocksbeutel (bottles with flattened round shapes).

Rüdesheim am Rhein is a town in the Rhine Valley, Germany. It’s known for winemaking, especially of Riesling wines. In the center, Drosselgasse is a lane lined with shops, taverns and restaurants. Medieval Brömserburg Castle is home to the Rheingau Wine Museum, exhibiting wine paraphernalia from ancient times to the present.

Deluxe Balcony Suite

These 225ft² suites are in prime locations at the front of the ship on both the Sapphire and Diamond Decks.They offer all the features of Scenic’s private Balcony Suites, including their ingenious Scenic Sun Lounge; but with even more space to relax.

Junior Balcony Suite

These 250ft²spacious Suites, are located on the Sapphire and Diamond Decks. They have a private full-length balcony complete with a Scenic Sun Lounge and elegant en-suite bathrooms, featuring a large vanity basin and shower.

Royal Panorama Suite

These Suites located on the Diamond Deck are the ultimate in luxury with more space (475ft²), impeccable service, thoughtful touches, an outdoor balcony, lounge area and an oversized bathroom.

Single Balcony Suite

Located on the Sapphire deck this suite is perfect for the solo traveller. They are between 153 – 170ft². Enjoy fantastic views from your full size balcony complete with Scenic Sun Lounge. This cabin also includes an elegant bathroom, with a luxurious vanity basin and shower.
