Day 1 - Hamburg, Germany

The biggest port of Germany, a notorious red-light-district and elegant mansions along the Elbe River ? it?s all in Hamburg! You can get to know the vibrant city of Hamburg during this great tour! On your way there is much to see: you will pass the downtown Alster Lake and the city?s exclusive residential areas, the Jungfernstieg with its luxury shops and shopping malls, the Renaissance-style City Hall and Stock Exchange, modern downtown architecture, parks and gardens, the TV tower, the exhibition centre, 19th century court buildings and plenty more. Time and traffic permitting, you will have the chance to hop off the bus for photo-stops. You will complete your tour of Hamburg with an outside visit of the city?s famous landmark ?Michel? - St. Michaelis Church. The "Kramer Amtsstuben", a well preserved complex of restored buildings, presenting the living conditions in the early 18th century will be also shown in detail.

The ancient Norwegian city of Bergen is embraced by the mountains and waters of the fjord, it is a natural fusion that makes it a unique destination in Northern Europe. Like all typical places of Norway, Leknes was shaped by the strength of the Vikings. Yet it also features the delicacy of glass works of the famous blower Vikten. Leknes is at the centre of the Lofoten Islands, below the Arctic polar circle. Contrary to other Norwegian Islands, these islands boast vast verdant expanses that you can admire upon your arrival at the port. Visit the surroundings of Leknes and discover the landscapes of Nappskaret and the other islands of the archipelago. Don’t miss the works of the magical glassblower of Vikten, kept in an extraordinary building of great architectural value by the sea. The Norwegian city of Tromso is the gateway to the Arctic and starting point for expeditions to the North Pole. Situated on a small islet, connected to the coast by bridge, its main commercial activities revolve around the food and fishing industry, focused on the sea and nearby Lake Prestvant. The city's distinctive features include traditional timber warehouses and wooden houses. As a university town and a centre of the whaling industry,Tromso has enjoyed considerable prosperity with a thriving social and cultural life. The university is world renowned for its Geology and Natural Science faculties.

Day 7 - Honningsvag, Norway

Can you call yourself a real traveller if you haven’t wanted to see the North Cape at least once? Trondheim, once called Nidaros, was the capital of Norway until 1217. Today it is a university town, characterised by a dynamic and thriving cultural scene. The port of Trondheim will enable you to discover the gastronomic aspect of the city with its bars, cafés, restaurants and food and beer festivals. During your stay, take time to stroll through the city, cross the bridge of the old town and visit the royal residence (Stiftsgården). Don't miss historical sites such as the cathedral of Nidaros, which was built around the tomb of King Olav Haraldsson.

Day 10 - Alesund

We visit Ålesund to discover the wonderful grandeur of the fjords and then enjoy the Art Nouveau style of the city. It’s hard travel to Ålesund without succumbing to the unique charm of this city. The administrative centre of the same name is also the Norwegian epicentre of Art Nouveau. Once landed at the port of Ålesund, you can start your tour at the fjords, mysterious sea inlets surrounded by sheer cliffs. If you get the chance, look out for the picturesque midnight sun. And don't forget to sample the Pinnekjøtt watered with brandy!

The only city on the Swedish island of Gotland, Visby tells its ancient stories of Viking peoples and mediaeval merchants to the tourists who visit its lands.
